The Principal Amar Singh College Prof. Zahoor Ahmad Chatt was also present on the occasion. In his inaugural address, the Director of the institute welcomed the participants and gave a brief introduction of the institute .He spoke widely on the importance of the MATHEMATICA software and its applications in teaching and research of the Mathematical Sciences. Prof. Chatt spoke about the lack of interest of youth in Mathematics and emphasized that we should explore new ideas and create an effective mathematics environment, making the subject more interesting.
