Mathematics know as queen of all sciences is an expression of the human mind that reflects active will, contemplative reason and the desire for aesthetic perfection. Its basic elements are logic and intuition, analysis and construction, generality and individuality. It is definitely not what it is seen to be, but such an important human endeavor without which one can not taste the reality of being. Indeed, mathematical thinking opens one’s mind and that is why Plato had written on the font gate of his academy, “let no one ignorant of mathematics come in” he also believed that Mathematics is good for soul.
Here in this institute, we offer a 5-year integrated course in Mathematics the curriculum for which has been designed in line with the curriculum of the leading institution of the country. We also offer two (one in sixth semester and one in tenth semester) project-based courses which inculcate and provide a platform for research. We also run research projects through which we give scholarships to the students for carrying out their research work. Our main focus is to motivate our students and to provide them enough opportunities to pursue  Mathematics as their career option. I wish luck for all our students for their academic endeavors!
